Terms & Conditions

Please review our terms and conditions governing all services provided by V-M Express, Incorporated.

1. General Terms

1.1 Agreement: By engaging V-M Express, Incorporated ("V-M Express," "we," "our," or "us") for freight forwarding services, you ("Customer," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1.2 Services: V-M Express provides airport freight forwarding services including cargo handling, customs clearance, warehousing, ground transportation, and documentation services.

1.3 Quote Validity: All quotes provided are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Prices may be subject to change based on final cargo specifications.

1.4 Acceptance: Any booking or shipment request constitutes acceptance of these terms. Verbal agreements must be confirmed in writing.

2. Payment Terms

2.1 Invoicing: Services will be invoiced upon completion or as specified in the service agreement. Payment terms are Net 30 unless otherwise agreed.

2.2 Late Payments: Payments not received within 30 days may incur a 1.5% monthly interest charge on the outstanding balance.

2.3 Currency: All transactions are conducted in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise specified in writing.

2.4 Deposits: A deposit may be required for new customers or specialized services. Deposits are non-refundable for customized arrangements.

3. Liability & Insurance

3.1 Limitation of Liability: V-M Express's liability for any claim shall not exceed the declared value of cargo or the fees paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

3.2 Insurance: Customers are strongly advised to obtain adequate cargo insurance. V-M Express can assist in arranging coverage upon request at an additional cost.

3.3 Exclusions: V-M Express is not liable for damages resulting from acts of God, war, terrorism, government actions, strikes, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

3.4 Claims Process: Written claims must be submitted within 48 hours of discovery. Documentation supporting the claim is required.

4. Customs & Documentation

4.1 Accuracy: Customer is responsible for providing accurate and complete documentation. V-M Express is not liable for delays caused by incomplete or inaccurate paperwork.

4.2 Compliance: Customer must comply with all applicable import/export regulations. V-M Express assists with compliance but final responsibility lies with the shipper.

4.3 Customs Authority: Customs authorities retain final decision-making power. V-M Express cannot guarantee clearance outcomes.

5. Confidentiality & Data Protection

5.1 Information Use: Customer information is used solely for service provision and communication purposes.

5.2 Data Protection: V-M Express complies with applicable data protection regulations. Business information may be shared with partners as necessary for service delivery.

5.3 Retention: Documentation is retained for the period required by law or as necessary for business operations.

6. Termination

6.1 By Customer: Services may be cancelled with 48 hours written notice. Cancellation fees may apply for customized arrangements.

6.2 By V-M Express: We reserve the right to terminate services for non-payment, violation of terms, or circumstances making service provision impractical.

6.3 Effect of Termination: Upon termination, all outstanding payments become immediately due. Customer remains liable for services rendered.

7. Governing Law & Disputes

7.1 Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States of America.

7.2 Jurisdiction: Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lubbock County, Texas.

7.3 Arbitration: Prior to litigation, parties agree to attempt resolution through binding arbitration.

8. Modifications

8.1 Right to Modify: V-M Express reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website.

8.2 Notice: Continued use of services after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
